The Chief Minister took a vote on account for Rs 62,751 crore for three months though former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah suggested that he should take the vote on account for the entire 2019-20 financial year instead of three months. Sources said Mr Yediyurappa is planning to present a new budget with fresh programmes and schemes of his government in August or September this year. The assembly gave the nod for supplementary estimates worth Rs 3,327 crore to take up drought relief work from funds released by the Centre.
