Adyaksha in America review: A laughter 'challenge'

It's not just the senseless comedy which makes it a painful experience but the length at which it strikes is what doubles the agony. Churned with same old boring formula of a village guy who ignorantly marries a rich American girl, who coincidentally happens to be his childhood friend, is the recipe for an on-screen disaster. Further, with no surprise or fun elements to be found, it is a big task to even stay awake to witness the tale. However, if anyone manages to survive the onslaught right till the end, such a person deserves the laughter challenge trophy. Unfortunately even Sharaan fails to save this with his usual trademark act. It seems more like a forced attempt to cash-in on his image from the hit film Adyaksha. Just for the record, the American version of this presidential comedy revolves around Ullas played by Sharaan, who marries Nandini with rich plans. Once he finds out Nandini's addiction for alcohol, the real picture starts to bore! The worst of its kind comedy, Adyaksha in America lacks honest writing with hardly any situation in it which evokes good humour. , the songs scored by V Harikrishna is good as the film. In fact, 2014's Adyaksha had scored well with popular numbers. If not a real die-hard fan of Sharaan or Ragini Dwivedi, search for some videos of the best comedy on the Internet for a good laugh than risking this comedy of 'errors'. ...
